3. Sam Richardson sets completion record against Toledo
What’s impressive about Richardson’s big night against Texas’ stout pass defense was it came right after a school-record 37 passing completions against Toledo. Iowa State’s starting quarterback has had many completions as they had points in a seven-point victory, and he also had a career-high 351 yards. Let’s hope the back-to-back great passing days happen more frequently next season.
