4. Jamie Pollard stands up for Iowa State after more officiating mistakes

Just like most Iowa State fans, the AD had enough of seeing the Cyclones getting screwed over by the referees. He didn’t want another apology letter, so he put the conference officials on blast. The Big 12 reprimanded him and backed up the officials because Pollard broke some conduct policy.

National analysts like Jay Bilas had their hot takes on Pollard being a baby, and that’s fine. 100 percent of those analysts that had an opinion also never watched Iowa State football. The Cyclones did get screwed. When you get multiple apology letters in the last two years, you get tired of being pushed around.
