Iowa State’s cavalcade of disaster reached a fitting conclusion in the 55-3 debacling at the hands of TCU. The Cyclones offense played at its worst (shockingly enough) with just 236 total yards, 13 first downs, and converted just 3-of-18 third down attempts. Most of the disaster happened in the second half as Iowa State kept it respectable in the first half.

But hey, the Cyclones did their part in keeping another Big 12 team out of a national championship by just showing up. Their terribleness dropped TCU from 3rd to 6th in the College Football Playoff rankings. What other team can do that? Exactly — That’s So Cyclones(TM).
