Now 8-1 with wins over UMKC, Iowa, and Southern, the Cyclones received 772 total points to move from 14th to 13th. It may not be a huge jump, but it’s mostly thanks to all the top teams continuing to win. No one inside the top 13 has more than one loss this season. Iowa State did jump Utah, who lost to Kansas on Saturday, and the Utes are now at 14th with 670 points. Ohio State is ahead of the Cyclones at 12th with 838 points.

Texas and Kansas represent the top of the Big 12th at 9th and 10th respectfully. The Longhorns actually dropped a spot from eighth and the Jayhawks remain at 10th despite getting a big win.

Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, and Louisville hold up in the top four with undefeated records. The biggest separation in points lies between the Arizona Wildcats and Cardinals. The Kentucky Wildcats have 1,625 points, the Blue Devils have 1,545 points, Arizona has 1,505 points, and Louisville has 1,349 points. Wisconsin is at fifth with one loss (to Duke) and Virginia and Villanova round out undefeated teams in the top seven. The only other undefeated team in the top 25 is Washington at 16th.

Other Big 12 teams in the top 25 are Oklahoma at 15th and West Virginia at 22nd. The Sooners moved from 16th to 15th and the Mountaineers remained at 22nd.

Other teams in the top 25 that haven’t been mentioned already are Gonazaga at eighth, Wichita State at 11th, Maryland at 17th, Miami (FL) at 18th, San Diego State at 19th, St. John’s at 20th, Notre Dame at 21st, Butler at 23rd, North Carolina at 24th, and Michigan State at 25th.
