The Cyclones fell 72-63 against Maryland in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic Final. Frustration from not handling the Terrapin bigs was a key takeaway, but I go through specific player performances and explain why I don’t think Jameel McKay, while would have helped, would have made an ultimate difference.
Also, we take an encouraging look ahead to the season and explain how Iowa State can erase the tough loss from their memory fast, and we talk about the great weather in store for the final football game at Jack Trice Stadium.
