4. Arizona State Sun Devils / Maryland Terapins
Next up is the CBE Classic game against either Arizona State or Maryland. It’s hard to say definitely who would be the tougher opponent. Last season’s outcome would indicate ASU, but they lost their three leading scorers from that team, led by the electric Jahii Carson. Maryland, on the other hand, had a rough year. But they should be hungry to return to basketball prominence as they join the Big Ten for basketball. I’ll go ahead and say I’d rather play Maryland due to their place as a successful program historically.
