Kansas Jayhawks
Iowa State’s schedule favors a bowl game for this reason: There’s only five road games compared to seven home games. If they can win just one road game, they’ll have seven chances in the friendly confines of Jack Trice Stadium to win five times. If it doesn’t come against their rivals in Iowa City, it has to come in Kansas.
No offense to the Jayhawks, but they are the easiest team on the schedule (that includes NDSU and Toledo). There is nothing threatening about playing in Memorial Stadium, and even with the Cyclones’ horrible season last year they were able to thrive in Tulsa when the stadium was completely dead.
