By Brian Spaen
Dustin Hogue put up a new career high in Iowa State’s last game of the season, almost single-handedly boosting the team to the next level in the NCAA tournament.
It was an effort worthy of number two on our countdown of the best moments of last season. He finished with 34 points, blowing away his previous high of 22 against Auburn earlier in the season.
Hogue fired an incredible 15-of-19 from the field. His determination almost got the Cyclones into the next round, but the team ended up losing 81-76 against the Huskies.
