The Iowa State football team is still high on Tommy Mister’s sights, but the competition continues to heat up.
Wisconsin is the latest school to offer the three-star athlete from Oak Lawn, Illinois, that was received on Monday. Over the weekend, Mister spent the weekend with the Michigan State Spartans.
It’s the 11th offer given to Mister. Along with the Badgers, Spartans, and Cyclones, he’s received offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Notre Dame, Toledo, and Western Michigan.
According to 247Sports, Iowa State remains the favorite but both Big Ten schools have been given a push into the “warm” category. Back on May 6th, Steve Wiltfong from 247Sports made the prediction that Mister would commit to the Cyclones.
247Sports currently has a rating of 87 for the athlete, but isn’t listed in their Top 247 list. Mister is listed as the 55th best in his position and 20th in the state of Illinois.
We’ve scouted Tommy Mister back in April, and the 6-foot-2, 185-pound multi-talented athlete would be an extremely great fit for the Cyclones if he were to still pick them. He originally planned to make an announcement later this month, but that has likely changed with a surge of offers from more schools.
