A three-star athlete from Illinois is getting comfortable with Ames in his latest visit earlier this week, and it appears the Iowa State Cyclones is topping the favorites list.

Tommy Mister is a part of the class of 2014 and plays multiple positions on the field. His highlight video shows him at the quarterback position during his time at Richards in Oak Lawn. According to the Chicago Tribune, he’ll be transferring to St. Rita in Lansing and was listed as a running back.

Here’s the highlight video from Irish Illustrated. Notre Dame is one of the schools that has given Mister an offer.

On both 247Sports and Rivals, Iowa State is the highest school listed in Mister’s interest level. The Cyclones gave the 6-foot-2, 185-pound recruit an offer on March 13th and he unofficially visited back on March 29th. Other schools that have given him an offer are Ball State, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Notre Dame, and Western Michigan.

Mister is generally listed as a three-star athlete across the board on recruiting websites. According to 247Sports, he’s unofficially visited Western Michigan, Illinois, and was at the game between Notre Dame and Stanford last year.

Some highlights from the 2012 season in Richards include rushing 10 times for 93 yards and scoring three touchdowns in a win over Argo and rushing 20 times for 195 yards and scoring three touchdowns in a playoff win over Lincoln Way North.

In an article by 247Sports’ national reporter Steve Wiltfong, Mister had high praise for Iowa State after his visit last weekend.

"“They are my No. 1 and very high,” Mister said, adding that he plans to commit somewhere in June.“Iowa State right now can’t be touched.”"
