Iowa State men’s basketball: Season tickets are sold out

Just two days after being released to the public, Iowa State men’s basketball season tickets are completely sold out.

The Cyclone’s official athletic website announced early today that all the season tickets are gone. This is the first time in school history that Iowa State was able to sell out its allotment of season tickets.

There’s still a chance that people could pick up season tickets at a later date — season ticket renewals from last season are all due by August 1st and I’m sure there’s a select few that will forget and let it expire.

Still want to catch a few Iowa State men’s basketball games? Cyclones.com tells you how that will happen:

"In order to provide all fans with an opportunity to attend a men’s basketball game the Athletics Department will be holding back a limited supply of single game tickets for all home games. These tickets will go on-sale in October. The exact day will be release at a later date."

Everyone expected this kind of demand for the season. It’s going to be a hot ticket to get inside Hilton Coliseum and that trend should continue. If Fred Hoiberg keeps this level of play, the Cyclones continue to be a top 15 team in the nation, and they are national championship contenders, we won’t be far away from students camping outside before every game instead of the big ones like Iowa and Kansas.

Want some free advice? Definitely pay attention to when single-game tickets are going to be released and make sure to purchase them ASAP that day. If season tickets are sold out this fast, just imagine how fast these will.
