Last year’s defensive backs coach Bobby Elliot has left the Cyclones to be the same coach at Notre Dame.  Now Paul Rhoads has found his replacement.  According to FootballScoop.com, Iowa State has hired former North Carolina DB coach, Troy Douglas.  While at UNC, Douglas was named FootballScoop.com’s 2009 Defensive Backs Coach of the Year.  Douglas has spent 22 out of 24 years coaching college football dealing with DBs.  If you want to read more about Troy Douglas, click here.
