Nothing special, but nothing a real disappointment either. Colin Downing did a great job filling in for Kirby Van Der Kamp. You almost didn’t notice a difference in punting, and Holden Kramer was there for the assist in pooch punts. It’s always good to have a pooch kick specialist on the roster, am I right?
For kicking, Cole Netten was the man until he missed his first kick against Kansas. The dude was never the same after that. He ended up missing three of his final six attempts of the year. Let’s hope the sophomore rebounds for next year — it was nice to see the Cyclones finally have some continuity in the kicking game.
