Craig Bohl

  • Head coach at Wyoming
  • Also coached at North Dakota State
  • Overall record: 108-38
  • 13-1 in FCS playoffs

One way to get back at North Dakota State would be to hire their former head coach that was brilliant. The Bison really haven’t missed a beat this season (despite losing to UNI) without him at the helm, but he was the reason why NDSU is so damn good despite being at the FCS level.

It’s been a struggle starting out 4-6 with Wyoming, but this could really be a quick stop before a Power 5 conference picks him up. The problem with Iowa State is much better situations are also shopping for him. Considering how successful he made the Bison, he’s able to get recruits to come in a hard environment and sets up a winning formula without the best players. That would be a beautiful thing for the Cyclones.

So now that you’ve seen the list, who would be your favorite candidate to take over for Iowa State football? Are there any others not on the list that you would nominate? Let us know in the comments below.
