McElwain is only in his third year being a head coach, but he’s become a red-hot commodity leading the Rams to a 9-1 start this season. However, how much of it is having success in a weak Mountain West, and how strong is his recruiting ability?
Despite McElwain being a popular choice, this is one that has way too many question marks for me to be comfortable with. Plus, there’s probably better destinations that he could go to and would be more interested in.
