5. Southern Jaguars
The first game I want to watch is against the Southern Jaguars. I pegged this as a game to watch not long after it was originally announced thanks to the presence of former Cyclone, Calvin Godfrey. Godfrey took advantage of NCAA transfer rules to switch to Memphis and play immediately. Alongside him, the team lost its other two leading scorers. This probably won’t be the most competitive game without their top players, but an intriguing one given how well they played last year in winning the SWAC.
