Iowa State football: Injury report, depth chart vs. Kansas

Eight games into the season, and it’s an official MASH unit for the Iowa State football team. Here are all the updates of injuries involving the quarterback, the team’s best tackler, the team’s best cornerback, and many others as they head into Kansas.

— Sam B. Richardson left the game against Oklahoma early, and it wasn’t just because it was a blowout. Head coach Paul Rhoads says there is no serious issue with his shoulder and he should be good to go on Saturday.

— Jevohn Miller is out for Saturday’s game with a knee injury and an MRI took place later on Monday that will give more information on when he will return. It’s likely that he’s out for the season. Alton Meeks, a redshirt freshman, is listed first at middle linebacker on the depth chart.

— Defensive players Robby Garcia, Nigel Tribune, and Brandon Jensen are all probable for this Saturday’s game.

— No updates have been given to Devlyn Cousin or Martinez Syria. If Jensen and Cousin are both out, the Cyclones would be left with redshirt freshman Vernell Trent at nose guard.
