Fans were hoping for one of three possible late afternoon or evening kickoff times, but Iowa State’s home game against Oklahoma received a morning kickoff on Fox Sports 1.

This will be the Cyclones’ fourth game that will start at 11:00 AM Central time. The other games were against North Dakota State, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State, and all of those games were on FS1 as well.
Oklahoma-Iowa State will kickoff a quadroupleheader on FS1 that features three Big 12 games. The other games are Kansas at Baylor at 3:00 PM, Texas at Texas Tech at 6:30 PM, and the night cap features a Pac-12 contest between Utah and Arizona State.
ABC will have a Big 12 doubleheader starting off with the best game in the conference, TCU at West Virginia, at 2:30 PM, and then Oklahoma State at Kansas State at 7:00 PM.
An 11:00 AM start isn’t unexpected, but a bit disappointing for tailgaters considering there were four other windows that started at 2:30 PM or later. For fans that don’t care about tailgating, just want to get the game over with as soon as possible on Saturday, or don’t mind heading to the bar at 11:00 AM and drinking, then this is fantastic news for them!
Kickoff times for Week 11 will be announced on Monday, and unless there’s another option to go to a six-day pick, we’ll find out what time Iowa State-Kansas will be at. Probably 8:00 AM Central on Fox Sports 2, but that’s just a guess.
