3. Oklahoma Sooners

At one point in the season, both Oklahoma and Baylor were the toughest games on the schedule, but Iowa State had them both at home to possibly pull off a big upset in one of them. It clearly didn’t happen against Baylor, but the Sooners don’t appear as threatening with a 2-2 start in conference play and every game decided by eight points or less.

Obviously, it’s still the Sooners, and Iowa State has an incredibly poor history against them. But things don’t come as easy for OU in Jack Trice Stadium. The Cyclones had some close calls against Bob Stoops’ club, but they may have to really come through if they want an opportunity at a bowl game.
