Iowa State football: Ranking the Cyclones’ toughest remaining opponents

5. Kansas Jayhawks
This is the obvious pick for easiest game left on the schedule, but this doesn’t look nearly as appetizing as it did when Montell Cozart was slinging it for 89 yards against Duke (that’s actually a real stat). Now that Charlie Weis has been shown the door, it appears that the weight has been lifted off this team (sorry). They’ve scored 41 points in their last two games.
On the flip side, Iowa State is probably Kansas’ best shot at one more victory this season. The rest of the slate (TCU at home and Baylor, Oklahoma, and Kansas State on the road) is incredibly brutal.
