JK: Wide receiver John Harris has saved this offense. Harris came into the season with five catches in his career (one of those being a hail mary reception from Case McCoy against the Cyclones last year). Six games in, he has 31 receptions and six touchdowns. Strong called Harris into his office this past offseason and told him he was out of shape and needed to rededicate himself to the sport. Harris took the challenge to heart, and he has been Texas’ best weapon on offense.

Jeff Kubiszyn’s final thoughts:

I think Texas comes into this game focused and all business. There is too much pride on this team to lose a third straight game. Texas wins 27-21.
