BS: What are some of the matchups on offense and/or defense that you are interested in watching this Saturday against Iowa State?

JK: On offense I want to see how the reshuffled offensive line does against the Iowa State front seven. Taylor Doyle has moved from tackle to center to provide more size in the middle. Texas was getting pushed around up front. Against Oklahoma, the line did a better job of opening up holes for the running backs and providing a clean pocket for Swoopes.
I’m also curious to see how Sam B. Richardson does against the Texas defensive front seven. This group shut down Bryce Petty and Trevor Knight by disrupting the offense’s rhythm. I think Richardson will have to throw the ball to beat Texas, and that will play into the strength of this defense. Cedric Reed and Malcom Brown have lived in the opponent’s backfield all season.
