This unit has been much better than expected. Having to replace somebody like Jeremiah George, and even A.J. Klein and Jake Knott before that, is tough. But senior Jevohn Miller has done just that. Leading the team with 61 tackles, he’s well on his way to eclipse the century mark.

Luke Knott, Jake’s brother, has also found a starting role. Already third on the team in total tackles with 41 as a sophomore, he’s only going to get better. And don’t forget JUCO transfer Drake Ferch who’s been impressive in his first five games as a senior before needing a week off against Toledo.
