There’s a slight knock because there should be more production with this corps, but you can’t fault them much. This has been the group decimated by injuries. Losing a leader in Quenton Bundrage hurt. P.J. Harris is a great talent lost, and Brett Medders had a great debut against Iowa and was injured right after that in practice. Jarvis West, who’s had to step up, has been hurt as well.
Luckily, this corps was also the most deep. Allen Lazard, D’Vario Montgomery, and E.J. Bibbs are all physically big threats that should be tanks for the offense. The potential of an explosive game was there against Toledo. That now has to translate to Big 12 play.
