Iowa State football: Injury report, depth chart vs Texas

A number of players that sat out against Toledo are expected to return to Big 12 action for Iowa State on Saturday.

Yesterday, head coach Paul Rhoads said in his press conference that WR Jarvis West (foot), LB Drake Ferch (shoulder), and RB Aaron Wimberly (ankle) would all be back against Texas. Some injury reports have West still as questionable, but all three players should be listed as probable.
— Matt Swoyer, a redshirt sophomore that’s listed as a defensive back and plays on special teams, has had his career end with an ACL injury.
— Brock Dagel, who was day-to-day last week, had surgery about five days ago and will miss the rest of the season. Shawn Curtis, a redshirt freshman, will serve as Jacob Gannon’s backup at right tackle.
— Either Wimberly or DeVondrick Nealy will start at running back.
