One of the coolest beginnings on the season will happen on Saturday morning. Temperatures will barely break 40 degrees, a far cry from the mid-90’s Stillwater is enjoying today. Storms are rolling through tonight and through Thursday that will be lowering the temperatures to standard fall Oklahoma weather.
- Temperature at 6:00 AM CT: 44 degrees F
- Temperature at 11:00 AM CT: 63 degrees F
- Status: Sunny and clear
- Chance of rain: 0 percent
- Wind: 4-8 miles per hour Northwest moving Southwest by kickoff
The good news about tailgating is that the temperature will be quickly rising. Coats and heavier attire can be quickly extinguished of as the morning continues. Kickoff will be at a solid 63 degrees and the temperature should be in the mid-70’s by the time the game is over.
That means anybody that wants tailgating to continue after the game will enjoy perfect conditions like they did last week in Ames during late afternoon tailgating. Absolutely no rain is expected in the forecast all day long. In fact, there is expected to be absolutely zero rain all day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for those traveling around the area this weekend.
