Iowa State thankfully didn’t suffer any more injuries during the game against Baylor, but we did learn that Brett Medders was injured in practice and is out for the season. Here are all the notable injuries across the Big 12 for this week.
Baylor
Wide receiver Clay Fuller is still dealing with a collarbone injury and is questionable for Saturday against Texas. However, Levi Norwood is finally cleared to play.
Iowa State
Six players are out for the season with injuries and one left the team to focus on academics, but nothing substantial happened in the loss to Baylor.
Kansas
Offensive lineman Damon Martin is questionable to play against West Virginia after he was out last week due to an undisclosed illness.
Kansas State
No notable injuries happened last week.
Oklahoma
Defensive end Matt Dimon has an elbow injury and is now expected to miss the game against TCU. Another defensive lineman, Quincy Russell, is questionable due to personal reasons. There has not been an unofficial update for running back Keith Ford, who’s expected to return soon.
Also, it’s not an injury, but backup QB Baker Mayfield will not be eligible this season after the NCAA denied his waiver request.
Oklahoma State
Sings don’t look good for quarterback J.W. Walsh. Some sources say that he will be out for 6-8 weeks, but no official announcement has been made by the team. For now, he’s simply out indefinitely.
TCU
Offensive lineman Frank Kee continues to be out indefinitely with a shoulder injury. It’s expected that he will be redshirting, although it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Texas
Running back Daje Johnson and offensive tackle Desmond Harrison could return against Baylor after dealing with suspensions.
Texas Tech
Quaterback Davis Webb is dealing with a shoulder injury, defensive back Jalen Barnes is dealing with a groin injury, and defensive lineman Gary Moore is dealing with a chest injury, and all three are questionable against Kansas State.
West Virginia
Cornerback Travis Bell didn’t play against Oklahoma and there hasn’t been an update since.
