One player Iowa State won’t be able to hide in the upcoming football season is tight end E.J. Bibbs. Yet again, he receives more national attention after being promoted by another preview magazine.

Lindy’s Sports’ annual college football preview magazine listed Bibbs as one of the top five tight ends in the nation. Iowa State Athletics’ official Twitter account tweeted out the information straight from the page in the book.

Lindy’s didn’t say much, but here was a brief prediction for the Iowa State TE:

"New OC Mark Mangino will feed Bibbs (39 catches in ’13) even more."

Well, let’s hope so.

Bibbs has been on watch lists for numerous sports outlets, including a top ten list from The Sports Network, a top Big 12 draft prospect for 2015 by ESPN.

The tight end also won Iowa State’s Dury Moss Outstanding Newcomer Award and joined Jeremiah George on the Associated Press’ All-Big 12 team back in December.

Bibbs ranked second in receiving yards last season on the Cyclones behind Quenton Bundrage, finishing with 39 catches for 462 yards and two touchdowns. It’ll be a great battle between the two of them to emerge as Iowa State’s top receiver.
