The 2014 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship begins Wednesday, May 21st, and here’s everything you need to know about the event.

This event will take place at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma between the days of May 21st and May 25th. The top eight teams in the conference will play in a double elimination tournament.

Kansas State finished last in conference play, and will have to sit out of the event. Obviously, Iowa State still doesn’t have a baseball team.

How does the double elimination tournament work? The seeds are set up as your typical eight-team playoff, but everyone is split up in their own divisions. Division 1 will have Seeds 1, 8, 4, and 5. Division 2 will have Seeds 3, 6, 2, and 7. Those groups of four will play each other until a winner is determined.

The winner of both divisions will play in a championship game late Sunday afternoon. While all the first 12-14 games will be on FOX College Sports, the championship game will be on FOX Sports 1.

Here are your seeds in the tournament. Oklahoma State won outright, therefore they are top seed in the playoff. Big 12 record is followed by overall record.

  1. Oklahoma State Cowboys (18-6, 41-14)
  2. TCU Horned Frogs (17-7, 38-15)
  3. Kansas Jayhawks (15-9, 34-22)
  4. Texas Tech Red Raiders (14-10, 40-16)
  5. Texas Longhorns (13-11, 36-16)
  6. West Virginia Mountaineers (9-14, 27-24)
  7. Baylor Bears (8-15, 24-29)
  8. Oklahoma Sooners (8-16, 28-27)
