2014 NBA Draft: Iowa State’s DeAndre Kane, Melvin Ejim invited to scouting combine

Two Iowa State players, DeAndre Kane and Melvin Ejim, have been invited to the NBA Draft Combine on Thursday.

Both Kane and Ejim are expected to be at the combine at the end of the week. ESPN’s Chad Ford has the rest of the list of those invited.

Five hours of coverage will be available on both days. Here’s the breakdown on the ESPN family of networks Central times listed):

Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16

  • 9:00 AM -12:00 PM on ESPNU
  • 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on ESPN2

Some of the high prospects will not be participating in the event. Bleacher Report summarizes that Mitch McGary (Michigan) and Adreian Payne (Michigan State) will be missing it due to injuries. Andrew Wiggins (Kansas), Joel Embiid (Kansas), and Jabari Parker (Duke) will be holding private workouts.

Other notables that are scheduled to appear are Iowa’s Roy Devyn Marble, Baylor’s Cory Jefferson and Isaiah Austin, and Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart and Markel Brown.
