From the Big 12 official release with more:

"Overall, Ejim set or tied 10 Big 12 single-game records in the contest, including the most combined points and rebounds in one game (64).  Earlier in the week, he scored 22 points with 13 rebounds as the Cyclones won in Stillwater for the first time since 1988.  Ejim is averaging 30.7 points and 15.7 rebounds in his last three outings and has scored in double digits in 24 straight games."

It became a weekly occurrence for Iowa State to get a player on the conference weekly award list, but this is the first award for the Cyclones since January 6th when DeAndre Kane won his second consecutive player of the week award.

This is Ejim’s second player of the week award this season. Ejim’s performance also netted him in numerous media awards, such as player of the week for ESPN and CBS Sports.

Kansas State’s Marcus Foster won the Big 12 newcomer of the week award, also his second of the season.
