Kansas head coach Bill Self on what he saw during the game and how tough it is to play Iowa State.

"They shot 48 percent in our building, but the bottom line is I don’t know that we defended them that poorly – they are good. They’re really good and you have to score points in order to beat them. We got off to such a good start, then the law of averages started to prevail and then we kind of went brain dead there late in the first half. That was a really good win and of course when it got tied late the crowd was fabulous."
