The 16th-ranked Iowa State men’s basketball team is on the road again to take on the Kansas Jayhawks, looking to end a four-game losing streak against their Big 12 rivals.

This is the Cyclones 7th appearance on ESPNU, and they are 5-1 so far in their games on the network. The lone loss came against Oklahoma on January 11th, which triggered the three-game losing streak.
Iowa State hasn’t defeated Kansas since a 72-64 victory at home on January 28th, 2012, when the Jayhawks were ranked fifth in the Associated Press poll heading into Hilton Coliseum. As of this week, Kansas is ranked sixth in the poll.
Throughout the Big 12 season on the ESPN family of networks, conference games have consistently been on Monday nights at 8:00 PM CT on ESPN, Tuesday nights at 6:00 PM CT on ESPN2, and Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM CT on ESPNU with the same commentary crew. This will be the first time both Clay Matvick and Darrin Horn have called an Iowa State game this season.
