The game will be televised on Big 12 Network, which is not a standalone network but runs through syndication. Formerly, Big 12 Network was ESPN Plus. Like previous years, many local affiliates will broadcast a doubleheader of Big 12 basketball on Saturday with coverage beginning at 12:30 PM Central time.
Locally, Big 12 Network games can be found on WOI-TV 5 (ABC) with some games appearing on the 5.2 sub-channel.
A live stream of the game is available on ESPN3. There must be access to an ISP that provides ESPN3 programming. Access to WatchESPN is not required for just ESPN3 programming.
This is the first game that Iowa State will make an appearance on the Big 12 Network, and this will be the network’s first broadcast of the season. They will make seven total appearances during the season.
As usual, the game will also be on the Cyclone Radio Network, presented by Learfield Sports. The voice of the Cyclones, John Walters, will be joined by Eric Heft. The majority of affiliates that carry football will carry men’s basketball, but it doesn’t hurt to double-check with the affiliate list.
