Christmas Day marks the third and final day of the Diamond Head Classic at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawai’i . All the games will be played back-to-back on a variety of ESPN networks.

One of the surprises is the seventh-place game that opens the action.St. Mary’scame into the event undefeated just likeIowa State, but suffered losses to bothSouth Carolinaand hostHawai’i. They’ll take onGeorge Masonwho’s been able to hold opponents down defensively but unable to grab a victory as well.
The highlight game is of course the championship game betweenIowa StateandBoise State. Both teams provide a high-octane offensive attack and it should be a shootout.
In a span of three days, these are the only college basketball games in action nationally. No college basketball games took place on Tuesday and none will on Thursday.
