I thought Edwin Arceo was given up on too early, but the future is with Cole Netten. He was only a freshman this season, and finished making 13 of 18 field goal attempts and only missed one of 34 extra point attempts. Netten came a long way from his disaster against Tulsa, and he’s been incredibly reliable inside the 30-yard line and for Iowa State fans, it’s fun when extra points aren’t an adventure.
