FOX Sports Southwest released their Big 12 All-Midseason Team, and two familiar names from the Iowa State Cyclones made the list.

While it’s not a surprise that nobody made it on the offensive side, Jeremiah George was one of the linebackers that made the cut. The senior is alongside Caleb Lavey of Oklahoma State and Ben Heeney of Kansas.
George leads the Cyclones with 51 tackles (27 solo) and has broken up five passes.
On special teams, it’s no surprise to see Kirby Van Der Kamp as a punter. 11 of his 32 punts this season have landed inside the opponents’ 20, and eight of them were booted 50 yards or more (the longest being 59). None of them have been blocked.
The Jayhawks were the only school to have just one player make it on the list. West Virginia and Kansas State were the other schools to have just two on the list.
On the offensive side of the team, it’s largely dominated by the southern teams with the exception of wide receiver Tyler Lockett of Kansas State. Unsurprisingly, Baylor dominates the list with six players, lead by quarterback Bryce Petty, running back Lache Seastrunk, and wide receivers Antwan Goodley and Tevin Reese.
