No one on the Iowa State men’s basketball team was drafted in the 2013 NBA Draft, but some of them will be showcasing their talent this summer after signing with their new team.

Chris Williams from Cyclone Fanatic tweeted on Friday that both Will Clyburn and Chris Babb will be headed out west.

Afterwards, both Clyburn and Babb confirmed with a couple tweets on their own. Clyburn had a note in a post via Instagram that said, “May not have been drafted but thanks to the Sacramento Kings for giving me a shot to still live out my dream!! #blessed”

Babb mentioned his excitement for playing with former Missouri center Alex Oriakhi.

Both players are expected to play for the teams in the NBA Summer League that takes place in Orlando and Las Vegas from July 7th-22nd. The schedule was released in mid-June and NBATV will finalize their broadcast schedule on Monday.
