All 27 matches of the Iowa State women’s volleyball 2013 schedule was released today by the university. The entire list can be found at the official home page.

Next season will be composed of three different early season tournaments or challenges along with the 16-team Big 12 conference schedule. The Cyclones will be playing in the North Dakota Tournament in Grand Forks, North Dakota; the Ameritas Player’s Challenge in Lincoln, Nebraska; and will host the Iowa State Challenge at Hilton Coliseum.

The non-conference will be filled with challenges before facing the conference slate. Both UNI and San Diego were runners up in the final AVCA Coaches’ Poll last season. Ameritas Player’s Challenge will feature three teams that finished in the top 19 of the poll — St. Mary’s finished outside of the poll at 31st.

Iowa State finished 14th last season and in the rankings and made it to Regionals against Stanford. The Texas Longhorns won the championship last season and the Kansas Jayhawks finished 25th in the poll. Kansas State finished 29th outside of the poll after falling out of it in the previous week.

Most of the times have been announced, but some will be announced once the media information has been released. TV schedules will be released later on in the summer.
