Finally, it is over.  After going 22-9 in the regular season, Iowa State is ranked (25th) in the Associated Press poll for the first time since November of 2005.  The span lasted 130 poll weeks and 2303 days overall.

When Coach Hoiberg was asked today what the ranking means for Iowa State, he responded:

"I don’t think it means anything."

In the end, the rankings don’t mean much, but it is great recognition for a team that achieved so much this season.

Oh yea, the most downloaded song for November of 2005 was My Humps by The Black Eyed Peas.
