It is finally National Signing Day and the recruits are faxing in their Letter of Intents from all around the nation.  Keep checking this page for more updates involving Iowa State and National Signing Day.  Keep up with the conversation and leave comments at the end of this post.

8:32:  I’m just getting online and it looks like everything is going great for Iowa State so far.  Almost all of the recruits are signed and Damien Lawry has signed with ISU instead of Mizzou.  That is a great pickup for Paul Rhoads and company.

8:40:  Linebacker Darius White still hasn’t sent in his LOI.  I see that D’Vario Montgomery, the 4-star WR from Florida, is sticking with South Florida.  It looks like CB Gary Simon went with the Sooners, although his name was quickly taken down from OU’s official website.

8:55:  Checked again and Gary Simon’s name is still not on Oklahoma’s website.  This is very odd.  May have there been a mix up?

9:09:  Florida LB, Darius White, sends in his LOI.  That is the last expected recruit to send in their LOI.  My focus has turned to DGB’s announcement.

9:15:  I forgot about Grant Rohach who hasn’t sent in his LOI.  Rohach lives in California, so you can expect some delay.  No worries.

9:20:  Dorial Green-Beckham signs with Missouri.  That is a good team heading into the SEC with Franklin, Josey, others, and now DGB.  Also, OU’s website is making it official that Gary Simon has signed with them.

9:23:  It looks like the day is done for the Cyclones.  Grant Rohach, QB from California, sent in his LOI.  That was the last expected recruit.  I’m very high on Rohach and think he will be great in the future.  I think Rohach lost some hype because he committed so early.

9:30:  According to a couple sources, Iowa State’s day is finished.  There will be no surprises that sign with the Clones at the last minute.

9:54:  Since the day is mostly over, I’m going to stop writing here.  No real surprises, I correctly picked that Montgomery and Lawry would end up where they did, but missed on Gary Simon.  Check ClonesConfidential.com later in the day for more updates on National Signing Day.
