Recruiting: Quan West

Quan West committed to Iowa State on May 16th this past spring. West chose the Cyclones over Michigan, Western Michigan, Tulsa, and Colorado State. The senior from Willis High School in Willis, Texas stands at 6’5 and weighs 205 pounds. The big bodied receiver also plays defensive end for his high school. According to scouts, West has great hands and is also a great blocking receiver. West averaged over 20 yards per catch and caught 10 TD passes last year as a junior. He is a 3-star recruit and Rivals.com rates him as the 63rd best WR in the nation.
