Prediction: This is a must win for the Cyclones if they still have bowl aspirations. This game, Kansas, and Kansas State are the best chances to pick up the three wins needed for bowl eligibility. The Clones beat Tech last year in Ames but Tech (and the rest of the Big 12) is much improved this year. Their offense can points up on the board quickly and in bunches. Seth Doege’s is an incredible passing quarterback and don’t be surprised if he throws for over 400 yards. He has a lot of weapons to work with as he completed passes to 12 different receivers last week against Oklahoma.
For the Cyclones, they are going to have to find some way to slow down Tech’s offense. If Jared Barnett and the offense can sustain several drives and keep Seth Doege off the field, the Cyclones might have a chance. I just can’t see it happening. Iowa State 20, Texas Tech 43.
