Beebe Leaving Big 12

With the announcement that the Pac 12 will not be expanding in the near future, it looks like Oklahoma and Texas are going to stay in the Big 12. Last week Oklahoma said that they would consider staying in the Big if current commissioner, Dan Beebe, would leave the conference. Today, reports are going around that Beebe might be out as early as today.
The man to replace Beebe looks to be former Big 8 commish, Chuck Neinas. He was the commissioner of the Big 8 from 1971 to 1980 and then was the executive director of the College Football Association from 1980-1997. Neinas has around 45 years of experience with the highest level of college athletics. Here is a good article on the future commissioner of our league.
