Player and Play of Week 3
By Ross
Player of the Week – Darius Reynolds
This is an obvious choice. Darius Reynolds made big play after big play for the Cyclones on Friday night. He caught 4 passes for 128 yards and 2 TDs. The play that got Steele Jantz and the Cyclones going was his catch that he hauled in on a third and long in the first half. The Cyclone offense was struggling but it completely turned the game and momentum around. The play led to the James White touchdown run. He then caught the TD pass on the trick play pass from Josh Lenz. The play of the game was his touchdown catch with around nine minutes left in the game. The Cyclones took back the lead and never looked back. I dissed on Reynolds after the first week but he is making me eat my words after the past two games.
