We’re already halfway through the Iowa State football season, so let’s see how each part of the team has done and grade them.

For some people, the grades could either be too harsh or too lenient, but I’ve tried taking the tough schedule into account. Before the season, I didn’t dismiss the notion that the Cyclones could start 0-5 and get a lone win over Toledo, and even the Rockets wouldn’t be a cakewalk as they are favorites to win the MAC.

The Cyclones are 2-4 on the season with an 0-3 Big 12 record. However, those three losses have been against Kansas State, Baylor, and Oklahoma State. There will be plenty of chances to right the ship in the second half of the season.

Without further ado, here are the grades.
