NBA Draft 2014: Is Melvin Ejim’s stock falling?

The 2014 NBA Draft is just a few weeks away. Let’s catch up and see what’s been happening with Iowa State’s prospects in getting workouts and seeing if they’ve fallen or risen in the mock drafts.

Draft workout updates

DeAndre Kane worked out with the Toronto Raptors back on June 5th, the New York Knicks on June 7th, and will work out with the Charlotte Bobcats today (June 11th).

Melvin Ejim has worked out with Phoenix Suns. While it’s highly doubtful that the Suns will use one of their three first round picks on Ejim, it would still be cool to see him work under former Iowa State player and current head coach Jeff Hornacek.

Mock draft updates

Is Melvin Ejim’s stock falling? He’s no longer on NBADraft.net’s mock, but DeAndre Kane is holding on. He’s projected to go 56th to the Denver Nuggets on that mock draft as well as the Walter Football’s. Ejim is the last pick on that mock draft.

One of the highest places you’ll see Ejim is in this mock draft from NBA Draft Room. The forward is slated to go 48th to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Draft Express still doesn’t have the duo being taken off the board.
