The Big 12 went a perfect 5-0 yesterday in regional action during day one of the 2014 NCAA Baseball Championships, meaning that none of them will be facing elimination today.

What all happened in day one of the action? Oklahoma State and Texas dominated their opponent. The Cowboys blanked Binghamton 8-0 while the Longhorns got on the board early against their hated rivals and never let up en route to an 8-1 victory.

Kansas held on to a 10-6 win in a long game that saw multiple weather delays. The Jayhawks got three runs before before a rain delay in the first inning, and the game was again delayed when it was all tied up at 6-6.

Texas Tech and TCU survived on one-run victories. The Horned Frogs needed extra innings to beat Siena 2-1 in 11, and the Red Raiders held off Columbia 3-2.

None of the home teams in the Big 12 teams’ regions lost, so they will all be taking on the region’s host today.
