Trey Scott of Rival.com’s AllCyclones tweeted earlier today that Iowa State defensive tackles coach Shane Burnham was at Waukee High School on Tuesday.

No specific information was given, so we don’t know if Burnham was there to look at other prospects or if he was there talking to Allen.

Allen hasn’t received an offer from Iowa State yet. According to 247Sports, Allen has interest with the Cyclones, Iowa, Kansas State, Minnesota, Missouri,  and Nebraska. Wyoming looks to be the only school that has given him an offer so far. Allen has had an unofficial visit with the Cyclones last November 3rd.

Iowa State has given three running backs in the class of 2015 offers. Four-star recruit Andrew Dowell has committed to Northwestern while three-star prospects Javarius Davis from Florida and Alec Murphy from Missouri are still open.

There are currently no rankings or stars given to Allen from any recruiting source at this time. The running back checks in at 6-foot, 190 pounds, with a 40-yard dash time of 4.5 seconds. His Hudl profile has a big selection of videos, including this impressive return that he ran back for a touchdown.
