It’s a great way to look back at one of the best seasons in the Cyclones’ history and you can chime in with your thoughts. Where would you rate some of these moments? Are there any moments that we missed?

The countdown begins at 15 as we look back to DeAndre Kane’s perimeter shooting leading Iowa State over Boise State and winning the Diamond Head Classic, a holiday tournament that the Cyclones won on Christmas night.

Kane led the way with 23 points with an efficient day from the field, including going 4-of-6 from 3-point range, 8-of-14 from the field overall, and making 3-of-5 from the free-throw line.

Boise State took away the assists from the Cyclones, holding them to just seven on their 21 made field goals. That’s one of the biggest discrepancies in that category all season long. It didn’t face Kane, who stepped up with clutch shots that neither Matt Thomas or Naz Long could make that night.

Despite never having a lead over six points, the Cyclones defeated the Broncos 70-66 with a second half that saw them make 50 percent of their shots from the field (11-22) and going 6-of-13 as a team from the perimeter.
